Abstract: Terahertz (THz) detection is a key link in the application of THz technology. It is a highly comprehensive technology, involving physics, material science, semiconductor technology, optoelectronics,and superconducting electronics. This paper introduces the principle and applications of some typicalTHz detectors, especially with regard to research in China.
