Abstract: The discovery of Higgs boson in 2012 marked a milestone in the history of particle physics that not only filled in the last piece of the Standard Model jigsaw puzzle but also led to the award of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics to those physicists who proposed the Higgs mechanism.
